Location

The ASSETS 2019 conference will be held at The Omni William Penn Hotel in Pittsburgh, PA, USA. The Omni Hotel is a beautiful hotel and event venue located in the heart of downtown Pittsburgh. It’s close to all of the great (and award-winning!) restaurants, bars, and cultural centers downtown. You can take a bus to visit the sports stadiums on the North Side, trendy Strip District or Lawrenceville neighborhoods, or the renowned universities in Oakland.

Accomodations

The Omni William Penn offers Deluxe Rooms, Premier Rooms, and Executive/Luxury Suites. The deluxe rooms are the standard room, and are available at a conference rate (below).

Their ADA accessible rooms “feature enlarged door openings, and visual notification is available for the hotel alarm system and phone. Our guests have the option of rooms with a roll-in shower and a sink and toilet no higher than 29” from the floor, or a standard shower with tub, where the sink is standard and the toilet is no higher than 29” from the floor. All have a hand-held shower head and grab bars.”

There is complimentary Wi-Fi internet access in both the guest rooms and in the conference event area.

Venue Dining: Enjoy lunch or dinner in The Terrace Room, or slip away to the Speakeasy for a quieter conversation. You can also enjoy some of the local beers at The Tap Room or Afternoon Tea in Palm Court.

Room Reservations

The hotel is offering a rate of $159/night for single or double occupancy rooms. Triple occupancy rooms are available at $179/night, and 4-person occupancy rooms are available at $219/night, although these larger rooms are subject to availability.

However, the hotel website may allow you to book at the conference rate (or a reduced rate) between Wednesday, October 23 - Saturday, November 2nd.
